Fateless Flows began in 2001, when Dean De Benedictis invited artists Constant Flux (Doug Rimerman) and Appogee (Jay Skinner) to play one night of electronic music at Zen Sushi in Los Angeles. The evening was called Fateless Flows. After the show, Dean founded Fateless Flows, along with Appogee and Constant Flux. Modeled after Jim Goetsch's longstanding Novabeats Sound System, Fateless Flows was based on mutual respect and congruent yet expanding musical vision. Over the years, more artists were invited to join the collective, and through a synergy of shared resources and combined effort, the collective would provide a forum for sharing cutting-edge electronic music. |
